We have a great platform built and we need your engineering savvy to take us to the next level to ensure the quality our team loves! You aren’t just a curious, test-driven engineer; you want to automate and test everything knowing how it works. You are a “white-box” QA engineer and are very comfortable with a continuous integration micro-services architecture. You know your way around the build process and have opinions about how to tag, build and deploy. You know that true automated QA testing can really bring out the best in a server. You know the difference between unit tests and integration tests. You have MAD Git skills and are comfortable with *nix command-line tools and programming. Responsibilities

  • Create detailed test suites
  • Coordinate builds and deploys
  • Automate integration testing
  • Improve the alerts for failed builds
  • Setup processes for version releases and hotfixes
  • Use open-source tools to automate tests
  • Find bugs and add clear steps to reproduce
  • Think of new and wonderful ways to catch bugs in the future
  • Work with awesome product, development and creative team members
  • Champion quality of the product
  • Stay up to date on test tools & strategies
  • Share your knowledge in a non-aggressive demeanor

Requirements

  • Proven work experience in software development
  • Proven work experience in software quality assurance
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Hands-on experience with both white-box and black-box testing
  • Hands on experience with automated testing tools
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject or 4+ years in code development
  • 2+ years working in a team environment as an engineer
